School Days

Technology is truly amazing. We receive an update of what Kate learned and ate through the day at about 3:00pm daily. It includes photos of her in action, which are often times priceless. Here are a few of our favorite photos of Kate during school.

Alphabet

Miss. Kate loves to sing the alphabet. I caught her on video when we were driving to school. I think I heard it about 50 times during the drive and it never got old. It was the best radio station I could ask for...

Happy Valentine's Day

I spent the whole week as Fashion Queen with all of the outfits my Aunt Syl sent me to celebrate Valentine's Day. Thank you, Aunt Syl! Happy Birthday to you again!
Momma woke me up to a Valentine's bag filled with goodies... My very own "heart" robe with heart pockets to wear after bath time. It is so soft and cuddly. As soon as I saw the heart filled with M&Ms, I wanted nothing to do with breakfast. Momma gave in and let me have a few. After all, it was Valentine's Day...

I absolutely adore my teacher, Miss Essi. She is a kind hearted, gentle soul. She was one of my favorite Valentines.
Miss. Essi helped us make Valentine's Day bags for each of us to drop Valentine cards and snacks into. When I got home, Momma let me open up my bag. I kept looking for M&Ms but no such luck...

I settled for playing with the pencils and notepads. They keep me plenty occupied.
My "Say, Cheese" face...
 My true smile...
 Blowing kisses...

Snowy Days in Minnetonka

Momma made us three snowmen in front of our house last weekend. One for Momma, one for Daddy, and one for Kate. I look out the window in the morning to check them out.
I love to hug ... even my wet, cold snowmen...
Daddy and I played catch with snowballs...
 ... and caught a few kisses in-between...

Valentine's Day Visit from Nana

Nana came to visit February 4th through February 12th. I popped up out of bed every morning saying, "Nana" and headed right into her room to wake her up to start the day off right.

Nana and Papa gave me a Valentine's Day card the size of me!
Nana treated me to my favorite treat that Uncle Jeff started me on...M&M's. "Momma" (as Kate calls me now) can't even say those letters without me getting so excited thinking about the chocolate melting in my mouth and not in my hand. Papa gave me a "$2" bill in anticipation for my two year old birthday.
They also treated me to a piano. It plays many songs that I sing and dance to...
I did a lot of singing and dancing for Nana to show her my new "gallop" dance move.
We had so much fun chasing each other around the house and tickling each other.

My new thing is to play Hide and Seek. Little did I know Nana would be scaring me as I came around the corner.
This will be one of my all time favorite pictures of Kate for sure!

Puppy

Thank goodness Tony is allergic to dogs, or we would probably be getting Kate a puppy for her 2nd Birthday. She loves to act like a puppy and stick out her tongue...

... and make up songs about puppies....
