Happy Halloween!

Boo!

Showing you my scary ghost moves!

And, my happy face!

Even my pumpkin was a ghost!

Ellie, my BFF, was a cow! Moo... We got to ride in the buggy together at our school parade!

Our first appearance in a parade! Thank goodness it was quick! It was scheduled during my naptime and I had a meltdown right after we were done...

Trick or Treat... We went to our neighbors and asked them for a trick since mom says I can't have a treat...

Pumpkin Carving 101

We had a playdate with my BFF from school, Ellie Edstrom, on Halloween Eve! It was so fun! We carved pumpkins and played all afternoon. Mommy carved a pumpkin, "Kate the Ghost" to match my costume!

Six Months Old!

It is hard to believe that I am already six months old! I am 16 pounds 7 ounces and am 26 inches long. I wasn't joking last month when I told "Joy" that she couldn't sit in my chair. I showed her who was boss again this month!

I am rolling all over the place, sitting up on my own, and am on all fours rocking back and forth. Can't wait until I start crawling! Any day now!

First Hunting Trip (Mitchell, SD)

So, my Daddy hunts once a year back in the great state of South Dakota. It is a tradition for my Daddy and Uncle Dave to take a trip home to meet 20 cousins to hunt the land they grew up on. This year, I joined in the fun! Where to begin?!?

My Grandma Rose had cool sunglasses! She just had surgery and needed to protect her eyes. By the looks of it, I wish I had sunglasses too! It was bright!

See me?!? I am the little one in the front on the right. Yes, looking right at the camera!

I really liked my third cousin, Kathy. Mommy tells me that when we go to Kathy's we have a Busch Light, play cards, and steal eggs from her chickens.

My second cousin, Kenny, knew how to make me laugh. He was a funny man!

It was like the good ol' days with my second cousin, Rick! He came to visit me at my house when I was a newborn! He loves babies!

My Great Aunt Blondie... Mommy made her look at the camera, and she wasn't too happy about it.

My Great Aunt Lois was so nice! She brought me all kinds of gifts and I liked the bag it came in best. Mommy was very thankful for my new bib based on how I am eating these days!

My second cousin, Delaney, was so good with me. She watches babies my age. Mommy tried to convince her she needed to come stay with me in the summer months.

Cousin Diane is a natural with babies! You can tell she is a wonderful Grandmother!

My Grandma Rose is so special to me! I am happy that Mommy and I were able to spend time with her while the guys hunted.

My Uncle Dave called me a little princess... Ha, I have him wrapped already too! He has great taste when it comes to clothes. I loved his bright orange shirts!

Carrots, Beans, Pears, Oh My!

I absolutely LOVE eating! Mommy didn't think I would like anything more than carrots, but I fooled her! Green beans and pears are SO good, and I can't eat them fast enough! We've made it through all of the veggies and many fruits. Mommy thinks we will hold off on the pureed meat in a jar until nine months when I can eat the real stuff - thank goodness! Have you ever seen it or smelled it?

Buggy Ride

I just LOVE going to school! Mommy had my first parent/teacher conference today, and they told her that I am such a happy baby (except when I am hungry or tired!). They take me on "buggy rides" through the buildings where Mommy works. It is so fun when I see her walking by in between meetings!!

Ellie Edstrom is sitting behind me in the buggy, and she is my BFF! I am just two days older than she is. Right now, we are practicing sitting up together. We sit across from each other and stare at each other and share toys. We have our first playdate outside of school next weekend!

Mommy's Little Pumpkin

Mommy is in the Halloween/ Fall spirit this year! We went to the Arboretum to see their pumpkin display while Daddy was on a plane home from Scotland... I bet you are dying to know if I will be a pumpkin, ghost, or ladybug! The votes are in and we just received my costume in the mail! I look so darn cute! You will soon know!!

An Apple A Day Keeps the Doctor Away

Last weekend, Mommy and Daddy took me to an Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch. Mommy thought it would be so much fun! I was SO not into it!
