Valleyfair

When Carlee and Nana brought Kate back from South Dakota, we had a girl's day and went to Valleyfair. 

First thing is first, a picnic!

Charlie Brown's All Star Baseball show - Kate is officially in love with Snoopy and Charlie Brown and  Lucy and Linus!

 Carlee was brave and adventurous and went on thriller rides. Kate will follow in her shoes someday. She went on every ride she could! Carlee taught her to put her hands up!

Carlee stuck around for the weekend. We went to Paint a Plate. Her plate was unbelievable! 

Kate was more interested in eating than making her plate. 

Oh Happy Day

We are so blessed to have such a happy, happy boy! Will is nothing but full of life and energy! 

He loves hearing an "ah choo" like a sneeze and "ooo ooo eee aaaa" like a monkey.

Will has been practicing his sitting up skills and can officially sit on his own and is stable. Such a big boy!

First tooth

Will's first tooth poked through on Tuesday, July 22nd! The second one came about 4 days later. You have to look real close to see it. 

He loves playing with his tongue now that he has a two teeth! 

Annual Week at Nana & Papa's

Kate went to Nana and Papa's for a week, and cousin Carlee was there too! 

You can just look at the picture to know how much Kate adored Carlee, and you can imagine what she learned from her. 

This was nothing compared to the green markers that ended up on her toenails. She told Nana that it just got on there. She is starting to give us a run for our money. Last night she poured water all over the counter and floor and giggled while she did it saying, "Oops! Sorry Mommy." She found a green marker in a drawer and wrote all over there entire two little hands and on the floor. She was clapping and so proud of herself!

The neighbors have a trampoline. Kate and Carlee spent a lot of time on it practicing handstands and pikes.

All Star Game in Minneapolis

Minneapolis hosted the All Star Game this year. Kate and I went to the Future's Game the day before, and she had a ball! She is going to be a baseball lover like her Daddy. Her Papa will need to teach her how to hit a good ball!

We decided we needed to wear multiple layers of Hello Kitty shirts to the game including her pajama top... why not? 

Making sure every last drop of ice cream is achieved!

She loved dancing to the music. I think her ice cream sugar high was starting to kick in!

Happy Independence Day!

The kids and I went to South Dakota for the 4th of July this year to see Grandma Rose.

Campaign Trail

Kate and Will have been Tony's biggest supporters. Kate often asks if she can go out door knocking to "talk to the people" and to put lawn signs in people's yards.
