Outdoor Patio

Mommy and Daddy recently created a patio and landscaping in the back, so I could have a place to play and enjoy the outdoors. The firepit will come in handy when I can make S'mores and eat them. It is finally cooling off at night that we just might be able to use it next weekend when our cousins Angie, Chris, and their kids are here staying with us.

Da' plane, Da' plane... We have a flight pattern over our house on the weekends. Kate loves spotting and watching the planes as they fly over.
Not only does she love to show us her belly but she loves to find our bellies.
Daddy made the mistake of putting Kate in her wagon and pulling her up and down the hill in the backyard. She now wants to do it over and over and makes her own little car noises as she goes. Daddy was worried about his yard lines not being straight after the fun was done.

A Day on the "East Side"

We spent a few Saturdays ago with the Albers on the East Side in Mahtomedi, Minnesota. We packed up and spent the day out on the boat with their girls, Campbell and Prestley.
Prestley and Campbell were such big girls helping out with Kate. Prestley sang Kate to sleep on the car ride home from the lake.
We recently taught Kate how to "cheers" with her milk. She knows exactly what to do and does it about 50 times at the dinner table before she feels like it is enough.
Kate enjoyed the water on White Bear Lake. Won't be long and swimming lessons will be starting.
We had an adult night out in Stillwater, Minnesota, while the girls had a sleep over at the Albers.

Everything is Nicer in Spicer

Last week, we spent time in Spicer, Minnesota, on a lake with Grandma, Grandpa, Cristian, and Carlee. I loved hanging out with all of my family!

Carlee let me ride on her float ... "Ally" the alligator is what Carlee it.

Cristian catching some rays on his turtle.
Carlee when Mommy told her to pose.
Cristian and me having a stare down.
We were feeding my "lovey" milk.
Carlee bought me my own pair of sunglasses and a new purse. I only liked wearing my sunglasses upside down.
I was telling Daddy and Cristian how to play the bean bag toss game. Mommy and Carlee came back and won "one" game. They were so excited they ran to the middle to do a little dance.
We made several trips to the city park that is across the street from the house we stayed in.
Cristian helped me with the chimes. His voice sounds so manly now.
 Enjoying the people watching.
We got to see my friends Delaney and Reese (and of course their parents - Brooke and Kelly). We are all getting so big.
 "Where's Daddy's belly?!?!"
Nana and Grandpa brought me a life-size Nemo bigger than me. I loved to sit and bounce on him.
Carlee introduced me to Snickers ice cream bars. Mmm... was all I could say! I was running around crazy for about an hour after. Boy, do I love that sugar! Why doesn't Mommy ever give it to me?!?!

Cristian got up on skis this year! All that weight lifting paid off!
Nana taught me how to play the piano. Oh, how I love music. Grandpa would say, "more music please," and I would play the music on the truck my Aunt Syl gave me.
Carlee and I had a water gun fight... I think she won.
Carlee and I made up our own band named the "Kater and Carlee" band. We spent hours going round and round on my truck!

Happy Birthday, America!

I learned how to wave the American flag today (out of control, I might add). We were going to go to a parade today, but we decided it was too hot - 96 degrees at 11am. Daddy got home from Mexico City early, so I was able to see him. I looked at his picture a lot on the wall, said "daaa" and giggled, while I waited for him to get home.

I love throwing my ball... My aim is improving!
