Santa Visit (Dec 2014)

Following in his sister's footsteps, Will just stared at Santa and wasn't so sure about him.
He looked a bit more terrified the longer he sat on his lap
Kate wasn't so sure to begin with and said that Mommy would have to sit on his lap to. She was easily convinced she could do it on her own
Once she climbed on, she was so proud
Face paintings are one of Kate's favorites, especially by an elf.

Annual Macy's 8th Floor Display (Dec 2014)

It was our annual trip to Macy's 8th Floor Christmas Display.
Being silly like the Elf
Of course, our picture had to be in front of CHOCOLATE!
The elf on stilts was fascinating to Kate
Kate was jealous of how the baker had got into chocolate
"Believe" meter
Her ask of Santa .... "bunny, rocketship, new loveys (which she would never give up her "one" lovey to play with new ones,) and a heart. It's the simple things in life
Mailing her letter to the North Pole

December 2014

Whatz up?!?
Rarely without a baby in her hands acting like Little Mother Hen
Ice cube making
So sweet and innocent
Gopher Basketball Game with Daddy
Magnatiles are a favorite in our household. Kate is going to be like Uncle Jeff, an engineer. She is so creative with her designs!
Bathtime is one of Will's favorite pasttimes. He loves to kick and splash!
 Always happy!
Kate loves gymnastics ... Thanks to Nana and Papa this Summer, she has gotten really good on the trampoline!
 Who doesn't love being naked?!

Haircuts with Joanna means fancy braids.

What?!

Gingerbread House + "Elf" (Dec 2014)

"Elf" returned to our house this year after Thanksgiving and flew to the North Pole every night to tell Santa about Kate and Will's behavior. "Elf" was so silly - some of our favorites where when he was eating out of Kate's cereal bowl, strung toilet paper all over the bathroom, slept in Kate's stocking, and hung from the ceiling fan.
Gingerbread House decorating was one our favorite activities this December. Kate was a master at putting one candy on the house and having one for herself.

Another Gymnast? (Dec 2014)

I'm not sure if Will loves Kate's trampoline more than her, but he spends a fair amount of time on it!

St. Nicholas Day (Dec 6 2014)

We love the tradition of setting a pair of shoes outside of the kids' bedroom door for St. Nicholas to deliver a goodie. A book and a small piece of chocolate.

Setting up the Christmas Tree (Dec 2014)

Setting up the Christmas Tree has become a fun tradition to do after Thanksgiving. Who is the cutest elf and Santa helper ever?!
Selfie
Surprisingly, Will didn't get into the tree once. I think the spikes on the tree kept him away!
I don't think there could be another girl more happy when her Daddy is around. He is her best friend. She even tells him this, "Daddy, you are my best friend." It melts his heart (and mine) every time.
Santa was one of Kate's favorites that we pulled out of storage.

Walking Along (Nov 2014)

Mr. Will decided to start walking along the furniture and pushing his lawn mower while we were in St. Thomas. He was cruisin' and SO proud!

Will showed off his new moves while doing Facetime with Grandma Rose.

His giggle is contagious!

St Thomas (Nov 2014)

Our first vacation since Will was born. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas and enjoyed the view of St. John on our own private beach. It was gorgeous and exactly what we needed. We knew the kids were in great hands with Nana and Papa, so we were able to relax and enjoy! A HUGE thanks to them for taking the kiddos!! Will started walking along furniture and walking behind/pushing things around while we were gone. He didn't want much to do with me for about two months after the trip.
We did a lot of reading and playing cards and had afternoon happy hours before going to dinner.
Tony learned how to drive a Hobby Cat in the ocean. I even joined him out there. We were out their when the afternoon showers were about to hit. He hightailed it in just in time for me to grab my phone that was left out on a lawn chair. Whew!

When we weren't laying by the pool, we were laying on the hotel's private beach.
Our view over breakfast each morning
We rented a jeep on St. John for the day and drove along the coast stopping at each beach. This was the last one of the day before sunset.
Roadies were considered legal, so Tony went old school for the beach.
We stopped at a little bar in the middle of nowhere called "Shipwreck Landing"

This was one of my favorite views and most relaxing spots on the trip.

Maho Bay was by far our favorite - quite, calm, and beautiful! We could have sat there all day!
