Catch me if you can

Kate continues to be best friends with Ellie at school. When they see each other in the morning, they flap their arms and scream in excitement. They instantly go up to each other and give each other a kiss and point their fingers at each other. It is amazing to see how they have developed such a great relationship at such a young age. Summer and I will do everything we can to keep them in the same Toddler room when they move up in a few months. Bryan caught this on video... so cute!

Pool party

My Aunt Syl gave my a pool for my birthday. We set it up today to kickoff the summer a few days early.
I am really into carrying things around on my arm. I must have walked three miles going back and forth on the patio with water rings on my arms.

Visit from Nana

Daddy was in Paris all week and Papa was in Canada fishing, so Nana and Mommy decided that Nana should visit for the week. It was SO fun! I am still whimpering from missing her. She loves to chase me around and I love to chase her around.

Our first order of business was playing Legos. My friends, Reese and Delaney, gave them to me for my birthday and I love to play with them. Nana built fancy castles!

We went to the Minnesota Zoo...
We got to see a Leopard up close and a bear!
My hand is just about the size of a Tiger's paw.
My favorite part was walking with Nana. She let me carry her camera on my shoulder. I was a bit obsessed with it.

YMCA Camp Miller

Our Gopher Adventure Club in June was at a YMCA camp with about twelve families. Kate and Daddy went for a very brief kayak ride (literally in and out of the kayak).

It was amazing to see all of the kids together in one place at one time. We sure do have a lot of offspring!
Kate did great in the cabin. She loved the bunk beds and sleeping bags!

My First Year Photo Shoot

Our happy baby shined during her one year old pictures at the Walker Art Center in downtown Minneapolis. She is bright and beautiful in every way. Yesterday morning, Tony and I went to get her out of her crib when she woke up and she grabbed my face with her hands and kissed me right on the lips. Melted my heart... Kate is 30" and weighs 20 pounds and 13 ounces.

Stone Arch Bridge / Heritage Trail

We ventured out to downtown Minneapolis today to walk the Stone Arch Bridge and along the Heritage Trail. The dam was gushing with water like we've never seen. Kate wasn't too sure about the wheelies Tony kept popping. Her eyes got as big as her head and she held on for dear life.

When we returned home, Tony and Kate had one of their ritual giggle fests...

Go Twins...

We hit my first Twins game this year on Memorial Day. I had so much fun people watching and clapping when the crowd clapped!

Happy Memorial Day!

Mommy and Daddy thought that they would be smart and leave for Grandma Rose's house at 7pm, so I would sleep the whole way. Not happening! I cried for them for at least two hours. They were smarter for the drive home and drove during the day. It was smooth sailing!

I had so much fun sitting like my Grandma in a big girl's chair.
We visited Grandpa Bob in the cemetery and I was so proud standing right by his side.
We read books...

I loved running around Grandma's house. I was the center of attention all weekend.
