3 Months Old

It is hard believe, but I was three months old last week! Boy have I grown! This is my first full week at "school." Mommy decided to go back to work full time this week, so she can save her vacation days to take a trip with Daddy and me later in the year. She also says that I need to get into a routine. The good news is that we received a phone call today, and I get to start going to "school" at Mommy's work on September 6th. It will be SO nice to be in the same building! We can't wait!!

Look at how much I have progressed over the past few months!

First Day of "School"

My Mommy went back to work today, and I went to school. I met all kinds of new friends and the ladies love me! Daddy stayed home to see us off as we left the house. Mommy didn't do too bad. She only sat in the parking lot for five minutes to cry (and on the rest of her drive to work).

I slept well and even fell asleep on my own in the bouncy chair.

They said I took a bottle like a champ! When I was done eating, I gave them lots of smiles! Thank goodness! My Mommy was so worried considering I wouldn't take a bottle just a week ago.

The "Rose" Garden

We had such a great weekend doing family time. We went to the Minnesota Arboretum and walked trails to look at the beautiful flowers, trees, etc. Mommy and Daddy may even get a membership to be able to go whenever we want to. There are picnic areas and areas to just sit and enjoy life. They are thinking a bottle of wine and cheese, and I am thinking boring!

We went to the Rose Garden ... How fitting being my name is Katherine "Rose"... I opened my eyes long enough to snap a few photos. The stroller rides still put me to sleep. Speaking of stroller, look at my dad sporting the stroller!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! We hope that you had a great weekend with your family and friends! I gave Mommy and Daddy the gift of sleeping from 8pm last night through 6:30am. Mommy is praying that it is the start of a new routine since she goes back to work on Monday. Daddy spent the morning giving me a history lesson on the 4th of July. I was interested for about 2 minutes. Man does he know a lot about our Independence!

We pulled the hammock out and I laid in it with Daddy. It was so fun! Our neighbors, Steve and Bonnie, stopped by to check us out in it!

I'm a Little Baker

Mommy and I made my first pie for my Daddy yesterday! Daddy used to sit beside Grandma Rose and watch her make pies out on the farm. Mommy wanted to start the tradition young. She says Grandma Rose's recipes are the best, and Daddy will know if we use any store bought goods. We went the old fashioned route!
