Family Date Night with the Albers

The Albers (Kristi and Mitch) made the hike over from the East side of town to hang out with the Wagners. Campbell, Presley, and Kate had a great time frosting Valentine's Day cookies...

Kate ate more sprinkles than what ended up on on the frosted cookies or on the table for that matter.
,,, coloring pictures and hanging them up around Kate's playroom ...
... going potty together while reading books and brushing their teeth to get ready for bed...
... waking up to see each other the next morning...
... Kate adored Mitch. At one point, she walked right past Tony and me and asked Mitch to pick her up. He knew how to make her giggle.
And, when the girls were sleeping, the adults had their own fun playing cards and having a few well deserved cocktails.

Minnesota Children's Museum

We made our way over to the Minnesota Children's Museum in St. Paul and became members. Kate absolutely enjoyed all aspects of it. The best part was the new Dora & Diego exhibit that started the day we were there.
Hugs for Dora...
I took Daddy for a spin on the bus...
And saved a few animals lives at the Animal Rescue Center...
The Constellation was one of my favorite parts.....
The market with the shopping carts was the winner!

Strike!

My cousins, Brandi, Roger, and Adam, sent me a gift in the mail last weekend. Princess Bowling! I LOVE it! Mommy tells me Papa bowled a 300 when he was 12 years old. I am on a mission to beat his record! Look out, Papa!

I get so excited and am so proud when I get the pins knocked down!
My favorite babysitter, Pam (or "Ham" as I call her since I don't have my "p's" down quite yet,) and I played it last weekend. She is on a bowling league on Thursday nights and taught me a few pointers.

Playdate with Ellie

Ellie came over this weekend for a morning play date! I was SO excited to see her outside of school. We sat at my little table in the playroom to eat breakfast together. We are such big girls now eating with  spoons and drinking from big girl cups without spilling. We even sat on the potty chairs at the same time and read books.
We played downstairs while Daddy and Bryan watched the big Gopher game.

Mommy and Summer sang songs with us. Our favorite was "The Wheels on the Bus."

All Aboard for Night Trains @ Twin Cities Railroad Museum

We took a trip to St.Paul to join in the holiday tradition of the annual Night Trains event at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum.
On Saturday nights, the lights are turned down and the giant size O scale layout comes alive in a magical way. Buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of vintage passenger trains.
The town of Mattlin is buried in a blizzard, and throughout the layout are miniature Christmas lights and decorations. The spectacular Christmas Train with its engine and cars covered in hundreds of lights wish everyone the happiest of holiday.

If you listen real close at the end, you can hear her "Ho, Ho, Ho"

The ferris wheel was Mommy's favorite part....

It was amazing... the whole city was set up like Minneapolis and St. Paul in miniature format. Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis.
