Holidazzle 2013

Unfortunately, this is the last year of the Holidazzle Parade in Downtown Minneapolis due to cost cutting. We went tonight for the opening night. I really enjoyed the floats and wanted more, more, more. We may have to go back before Christmas, so I can get my fill in.

We cheated and watched from a skyway, so we didn't have to stand in the cold, but we had a great view!
Papa bought me a "surprise" for after the parade... a new Dora hat and mittens. I slept with the Dora hat right by my side.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Nana and Papa made the hike to Minneapolis for Thanksgiving this year, since Mommy is only five weeks aways from her due date. I kiss and hug her belly often and tell my Baby Brother than I love him. I love whispering "Felix" in Mommy's ear to tease her about what we should name him.

Nana painted my little fingers and toes all different colors (per my request.)
Nana is such a good sport. I was determined she could wear my diaper, if I could just get it to fit!
And, she let me do her hair with clips and bands.
We made Turkey Cupcakes!
I didn't like his eyes looking at me, and I wasn't about to eat them!
Mmm... Minced Meat Pie! Daddy's favorite. I discovered pie this Thanksgiving Holiday. I am a Wagner for sure!
Papa shared his pumpkin pie with whipped cream with me
Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see? I love to read just like my Daddy!
Tickle Monster... Papa started the Tickle Monster when I was in South Dakota in September. He bought a Tickle Monster book with soft furry hands that we read together now. I like to chase him but don't like it when he is chasing me.

Young Pre-school

Kate started Young Pre-School two weeks ago. It was a sad day for Mommy. Kate, on the other hand, was more than ready and didn't want to go back to Toddlers. She has continued to correct me on "pre-school" when I say "school." She said to me the other day, "You always say school and I have to tell you pre-school." It is amazing how much she has grown up in just two weeks. Potty training is gearing up, and she loves her new teacher, Miss. Kris.

There is a computer in her new classroom that she is already interacting with.

Scissors?!? Mommy, clearly doesn't understand how early this starts.
Dot painting... She is so excited to have new activities and go on the "big girl" playground.
Thankfully, Ellie and Kate moved up to Young Pre-school at the same time since their birthdays are only 4 days apart, and they ended up in the same room again. Dancing with their monkeys

Zoom... Zoom

Papa gave me my first car... a Purina BMW... Ha! Beat that later in life, Daddy!
My steering is a little challenged. I went right for Daddy's grass...
My driving reminded Mommy and Daddy of their first attempts at driving a stick shift.
Look...No Hands!

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat

Kate finally got into it after about 10 houses. She was very selective on which houses she wanted to go to based on how many lights were on and if she liked the looks of the house in the dark. Little Scaredy Cat!
Our little Kitty with her Kitty pumpkin
Mmm... chocolate
Let's see what I got for chocolate... When we got home and it was our turn to hand out candy, Kate was scared and would run and hide in our bedroom.

Pre-school Halloween Parade

Kate the Kitty and Ellie the Wonder Woman with Lachlan the Dinosaur. These girls were too cute today!
 Meow...
Miss Essi, the African Princess, and Kate, the Kitty

Kate was so happy during the parade until she saw me and realized she wasn't going with me.
Kate started stomping her feet and roaring like a Lion. I had to remind her she was a kitty and needed to meow!

Pumpkin Carving

"Say Pumpkins" ... Someone was a little excited to carve pumpkins tonight.
We even got Daddy in there, even though he despises it.
Ready for the "unveiling" of the inside?
Kate got about three seeds out before she decided she was good.
She was more into poking holes in the pumpkin to guide where we needed to cut it.
 Mommy's little helper
Resorting to painting after helping Mommy for about two minutes.
Nothing like a pumpkin to match Kate's costume tomorrow night. She is very excited to be a kitty cat! She has been practicing "trick or treat" all week and reminding me she gets lots of chocolate after she rings the doorbell and says "trick or treat." We will see how much we get home or if she wants to eat it as we go from house to house. She was tuckered out tonight and ready to get a good night sleep tonight for her big day ... Halloween Parade at school and out in the neighborhood tomorrow night.
