First time in the high chair... such a big boy!

First Dance Recital

Kate and Ellie started dance together. Their first dance recital was in May at the Hopkins Community Center.

She was so excited to get ready for her big day. Little did she know what it meant to get on stage and dance in front of an entire audience!
All the kids walked out on stage except for Kate. Then, there was crying, and we knew it wasn't going to happen. But wait, out walked the owner of the studio with Kate in tow. She was amazing in calming Kate down in front of the whole audience and turned it into the Kate show for about three minutes. Wish I would have got that part on video! Without this woman, Kate would not have continued...
I still laugh until I cry when I watch this video! First the waving... Then, the "What's that Mommy?" when she is pointing at the curtain. Finally, she decides she might do a few moves.

She warmed up for song #2

By the very end, she wanted to be on the center of the stage, literally! Look for her in the middle as she makes her way to the front and center of the stage. This was the group song where all classes come out together.

Season Finale

Kate's Spring Gymnastics Graduation before we took the Summer off. She can't wait to get started again in the Fall. She often asks if she can go to gymnastics. We will see if it is something that sticks longer term...

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day Brunch. Kate wanted to hold Will, so Mommy could eat. She is such a little Mother Hen. Will continues to be a laid back, go with the flow kind of guy.

The ladies at school do such a nice job taking pictures of the kids and thinking of the parents. This was Will's Mother's Day picture to me.

Rise and Shine

This is one of my favorite video clips I've caught of Kate to date. She loves to act like her teachers and sing songs, pass out helper jobs, put her babies in the calming center, etc. Note: there is no actual picture it is just her voice that I recorded as we were driving into school one day.

Fill up that belly

Will turned 4 months old and Momma got him started on cereal in May to help him sleep through the night. Being only in the 5th percentile when he was born, we had to make up some weight! There was a lot of slurping and grabbing for the spoon. We think he liked it!

Nana Visit

We are still alive and in action! We apologize for the lack of posts over the past three months. The Wagner household has been quite busy with the Wagner for Minnesota House of Representative Campaign!

We had the pleasure of having Nana with us for a whole week while Daddy was in Brazil in May. Will loved sitting with Nana on the couch and letting his feet hang.

A day at the park... Not sure who had more fun... Nana or Kate?!?

Kate got to play hooky from school and went to the Mall of America with Nana.
Choo choo.... What happened to Kate's forehead? Well, Nana pushed her down in the driveway and tried to say that she was so excited running and fell flat on her face.

Not sure why she was scared of Dora. Maybe because she does look a little creepy!
Lots of love and snuggles throughout the week!

My little man looks so grown up in his collared shirt all ready for his school pics!
Thank you, Nana, for snapping a shot of me and the kiddos. I am usually the one with the camera, so this pic means a lot!
