Harley Dude!

My Nana and Papa came to visit this weekend and road all the way here in 48 degree weather on a Harley motorcycle. I can't wait until I can go on a ride with Papa. I'll be waiting many years...

I got to stay home on Friday from school to hang out with Nana and Papa. Nana had me giggling by acting like a scary Halloween monster. It was so much fun!

I showed off in the bathtub for Nana... My Daddy calls me a water baby! I love splashing my feet in the tub and playing with my squirting toys.

5 Months Old

I was five months old this past Wednesday! I finally realized that "someone" was sitting next to me. Well, I showed Joy who was boss! We will see if she is brave enough to sit next to me in a month... 

I am SO excited it is Halloween season. I can't wait to dress up and go to my neighbors to trick or treat! What will I be? Ladybug? Pumpkin? Ghost? Witch? You will find out soon enough!

Stomach Sleeper = Limbs Flying

I recently decided that sleeping on my stomach is much more comfortable than sleeping on my back. The instant Mommy and Daddy lay me down in my crib, I rollover to my stomach. Putting my leg or arm through the crib slates gets Mommy and Daddy to come back in my bedroom, so I tend to do it once or twice before getting to my stomach safely. It is my way of seeing them one last time before I go night-night.

I have been pulling my knees up and then stepping on my feet to push my butt in the air. Mommy is sad to think that I am going to be crawling early in life! 

Mommy didn't like feet before me. Now she just talks about eating them and is always massaging them. I'm not going to complain!

"And That's Another Minnesota First Down"

Saturday was the first home Gopher Football game of the season. Mommy and Daddy took me to this thing called tailgating. There were a lot of people eating and drinking and playing games and listening to loud music. I can't wait until I can join in the fun! I only made it to kickoff before falling asleep and Mommy took me home.

Last weekend, the Gophers played in California. We watched the football game at Auntie Vera's and Uncle Dave's.

Feet & Toes Discovery

Guess who discovered their feet and toes a few weeks ago?!? Me! Oh, how I love to grab a hold of my toes and pull! Mommy thinks I will be a gymnast in just a few years! Do you think I could win the $1M on America's Got Talent if I can master putting my toes in my mouth? 

Stroller Rides

Kate loves to go on walks! When she isn't sleeping she is playing with her new playmate... This playmate has saved Mommy on many car rides too!

"The Charmer"

This isn't the first boy that Kate has reeled in with her good looks. They say at daycare she loves to roll over to her "boy" friends and touch their feet and hands and roll back. Daddy will need to keep a tight rope on her as she gets older! August Henry is just three weeks older than Kate.
